Hello! My name is Ian Williams and I’m a composer whose ‘compositions’ mostly come into my head. As I’m not a musician they just stayed there until I began studying music at the University of Otago in 2005. Since then, well, hundreds of catchy pieces have been scored and are waiting to find new homes.

When I worked full-time in the advertising business, a famous ad man told me I needed to specialise. But I could never make up my mind what genre of writing I should specialise in, and same goes for my music.

So…! I offer variety, strong melodies, catchy lyrics, and a fast service. The songs / jingles for Air New Zealand, Nestles and the Fiji Tourist Bureau ware composed thirty years ago when I sang my tunes to professional arrengers and they did the rest.
